Do you not remember?

“Do you not yet understand or comprehend?
Are your hearts hardened?
Do you have eyes and not see, ears and not hear?
And do you not remember,
when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand,
how many wicker baskets full of fragments you picked up?””
via USCCB | NAB – February 15, 2011.

I guess this is why I’ve started this blog…so that I could remember. We are often like Dorothy and her friends in the Wizard of Ozz going through the poppy fields…try as we may, we just doze off(the world can be very intoxicating)…and need others to carry us through and to remind us of His love for us.

  1. Got the following from the facebook app ‘message from God’….thought it was interesting.

On this day, God wants you to know
… that it’s time you remembered who you really are. You are not your wallet, your job, your kids, your house. You are not your activities or your worries or the labels other people give you. Like an actor you play these roles, and like a good actor you sometimes forget who you really are. Time to wake up now, and remember that you are a being of immense power and breathtaking beauty created in the image of God…
