uncomfortable love

Heb13:1-8

“Let brotherly love continue.
Do not neglect hospitality,
for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.”

via USCCB | NAB – February 4, 2011.

I’m in the middle of reading http://crazylovebook.com/

and it is getting very ‘uncomfortable’. I can feel my boundaries expanding and it hurts. The conviction  hurts, the un-certainty of it all hurts. I’m living in a house that is too big and too full of things yet very empty of people. My parents raised seven children in a house 1/3 the size of this. There were neighbors and friends constantly coming and going. No one visits here…unless I send out engraved invitations (only half kidding).

I don’t yet understand where all of this is taking me…but something needs to change. I crave simplicity and freedom from things in order to live the radical Christian life.
